Be an I-Reporter with OBSNEWS
Most parents will admit that students are the gadget gurus of the family. Teens today have more experience with some aspects of modern technology than most grownups—and that is an interesting and challenging change in society. It’s just weird for parents when the kids are the experts of the family, but it’s a good kind of weird for the most part.
Recently the big news organizations have acknowledged the expertise that rests in the hands of today’s youth, and now they’re even tapping in to this new talent pool. CNN Student News accepts stories, photos and videos from students like you! Are you the next Anderson Cooper?
You don’t have to be an eye witness to a robbery to be an I-reporter. All you have to do is share a story about what’s happening in your school or your neighborhood. Is there a campaign to Green Your Homework? Have you witnessed discord based on racial or political tension? Is your class doing an interesting group project? There are millions of possibilities.
As always, remember to stay safe.
