Teen superstar Miley Cyrus has been offered the chance to pose naked for Playboy magazine, as soon as she turns 18.

Playboy boss Hugh Hefner wants to the 15-year-old to follow up her controversial photographs for a magazine recently and strip off completely in the pages of his magazine, but only when she reaches the legal age.

The Hannah Montana star sparked outrage when the candid snaps — which show Cyrus posing bare-backed, wrapped in a satin sheet — emerged online, forcing the singer/actress to issue an apology over the controversial Annie Leibovitz photos. Hefner says Cyrus would be ‘welcomed in the magazine’.

The 82-year-old also slammed the furore surrounding her poses for the magazine. “I think to make such a big to do over something as innocent as those photos, I think is a reflection on how schizophrenic America is about sexuality,” he said.

Arizona State University has disbanded their cheerleading squad after several photos of the girls in various states of undress were found on a campus blog entitled “The Dirty.”

Athletic Director Lisa Love opted to cut the entire squad despite the fact the pictures only featured six members of the team. It was also discovered that the photo was taken two years ago and was done in fun at a “cheer party.”

Several members of the ASU cheerleaders believed that the school had been planning on disbanding the squad prior to the photo scandal and used the picture as motivation for their decision.

Miley Cyrus has one more person in her corner as people continue to talk about her controversial Vanity Fair photos.

Kevin Jonas Sr., father of the Jonas Brothers, “I just feel bad. We love them. We just feel bad [for the family].” Cyrus is pals with the Jonas Brothers – Nick, Joe and Kevin – who have opened for the Disney star on her recent tour.

Other stars coming to Cyrus’s defense include: Rosie O’Donnell, the ladies of The Hills, Madonna and Tyra Banks, who said on the View, Wednesday: “She is a 15-year-old, and I just wish everybody would leave her alone!”
